Obituary

Mr. William "Will" Paul Thomas May, 38, passed away April 2, 2025.  He was born on January 28, 1987 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida to William Alex May and Sandra Dee Hargrave Asher.

Mr. May was a resident of Walton County, Florida.  He was a devoted husband, father, son and uncle. He worked as a Law Enforcement Officer with the Walton County Sheriff's Department for over 11 years, having received the Life Saving Award Certificate. He was a part of the Breathalyzer Program. He was a Field Training Officer for Walton County Sheriff's Department.  He enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons. He was an Avid Alabama Football fan. He also enjoyed playing cornhole with his family and friends and working out at the gym and poking Trackers's Belly button. He was a talented cook and enjoyed grilling out.

Mr. May was preceded in death by his granny, Iva Jean May, grandfather, Kenneth Paul May, grandmother, Gay Barton, grandfather, Thomas Barton, cousin, Nicole Stanley, Aunt Leslie White and Uncle Kenneth George May, Sr.

Mr. May is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Campbell-May; four children, Zane May, Clarice May, Layla Melcher and Tracker Thomaston and Cody Campbell; mother, Sandra Asher; father, William May; stepfather, Mathew Asher; Mother-in-Law, Linda F. Wilson; Father-in-Law, Marcus Shaw; two sisters, Shannon Sanchez and Samantha May; brother-in-law, Enrique Sanchez and nephews, Aiden and Deegan Sanchez; sister-in-law, Amanda Warren; brother in law, Christopher Towers and nieces; brother-in-law, James Sherlock; sister in law, Angela Hill and one niece.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Destiny Worship Center; 122 Poinciana Blvd, Miramar Beach, FL 32550.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Destiny Worship Center; with Pastor Rob Longmire officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will be held at Magnolia Cemetery with Law Enforcement Honors by the Walton County Sheriff's Department Honor Guard.
