Mr. William "Willie" Henry Burgess, age 35, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024. He was born October 7, 1989 to Max Leron Burgess and Marsha White Burgess.

Mr. Burgess was a lifelong resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He graduated from Walton High School in 2008. He was a devoted father. He was a talented guitar player and singer. He also enjoyed video games.

Mr. Burgess was preceded in death by his parents, Max Leron Burgess and Marsha Burgess; paternal grandparents Max and Hazel Burgess and maternal grandfather, Cecil White.

Mr. Burgess is survived by his significant other, Brittany Powell; two daughters, Elena Summer Burgess and Luna Evelynn Burgess; paternal grandmother, Anna Faye White, and brother, Joe Proffitt and wife Amber.

Celebration of life services will be held at a later date.
