Obituary

Mrs. Viola L. (Malfetano) Hrtica went home to the Lord on Saturday, January 8 th , 2022. Vi recently moved to Inlet Beach, Florida with her family from Miami, Florida where she resided for more than fifty years. Vi was born in Brooklyn, New York to Giovanni and Mary Malfetano.

Vi is survived by her beloved son Michael Hrtica, precious daughter Donna Hrtica, and preceded in death by her cherished son Steven Hrtica. Also left behind are sisters Gia Hunt, Anna Demaille, many nieces and nephews, numerous friends and dearest Linda Palma and Mary Norris, Vi's Angels.

Vi was full of laughter and joy. Her zest for life was contagious. She had a passion for people and had many friends who loved and adored her.

While raising her children, Vi was a realtor in the Miami area. She enjoyed helping people find their perfect home.

Vi loved the simple things in life, like her son Michael's cooking and her daughter Donna's endless energy. Vi was an avid traveler. She loved to cruise and spend time with her family, no matter the destination. Vi's unwavering faith and love of God was evident in her life.

Vi touched all who knew her. The beauty of her soul, whether it was through her faith or her infectious laughter radiated within her.

Vi will be missed beyond what words can express. Vi is a bright shining star, we know she will continue to shine her love upon us from above.

A Celebration of life Service will be held at 11:30 AM, February 12 th , 2022 at St. Louis Catholic Church; 7270 SW 120 th Street, Pinecrest, Florida 33156.
