Mr.Ted Randolph Schubert, 67, passed away March 23 , 2025. He was born on December 20,1957, in St. Louis, Missouri to Walter John Schubert Sr. and Dorothy Glanzman.
Mr. Schubert was a resident of Freeport, Florida, moving from Warner Robins, Georgia. He graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1976. He also graduated from Georgia College where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science. Mr. Schubert also played college basketball on a scholarship at Brewton-Parker College Mount Vernon, Georgia. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He owned and operated his family business, Lee's Rental Center in Warner Robins, Georgia. He was an avid gardener and kayak fisherman. He also enjoyed birdwatching. Mr. Schubert worked locally as a nursery manager at Clay Garden and Gifts for many years.
Mr. Schubert was preceded in death by his father and mother, two sisters, JoAnn Jones and Lisa Schubert, one brother, Walter Schubert Jr., and his first wife, Jana Schubert.
Mr. Schubert is survived by his loving wife, Shannon D. Schubert, three children, Morgan Walker and husband Cody, Sean Schubert, and Jackson Schubert, one grandson, Cohen Walker, and one sister, Jeanette Knight. He is also survived by numerous nieces and one nephew.
A celebration of life service will be held at Mr. Schubert's residence on April 20, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to Gentiva Hospice; 732 Baldwin Ave A, DeFuniak Springs, FL in Mr. Schubert's memory.
