It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved brother and uncle, Steven Darrel Lowry. Steve was born in Orlando, Florida on July 23, 1958. He resided most of his life in Fort Walton Beach, Florida with his last years spent in Freeport, Florida. Steve graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in 1976, where he excelled in sports. Steve loved the water, and was an avid fisherman and surfer all his life.

Steve was preceded in death by his loving parents, Darrel (Pete) Alton Lowry and Hazel Williams Lowry, and his longtime partner, Kim Omok Dziekowski. Steve is survived by his sisters, Judith Lowry Campbell (Jay), Jeanne Lowry Koval (Ken), and Sheryl Lowry Joel, all of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Steve was loved by his nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends and will be dearly missed by all.

Steve's family will have a private memorial service to honor and remember his life, and all the lives he touched with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit.
