Mr. Spencer Ray Overturf, age 86, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025.  He was born on, March 2, 1938 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Raymond Overturf and Odean Stevenson Overturf.

Mr. Overturf was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. He was a Veteran of the United States Armed forces having served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a life long employee of the Tennessee American Water Company. He had a quick wit and loved being surrounded by family, always had a joke and a laugh. He spent his life on his beloved Gulf of Mexico after his retirement.

Mr. Overturf was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Overturf and mother Odean Stevenson.

Mr. Overturf is survived by his loving wife, Emma Overturf, two daughters, Vickie A. Vivartlas and Lisa R. Peoples, sister, Sissie Coffman as well as three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Hwy 20 East Freeport, Florida 32439.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home with military honors by the United States Air Force.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 14, 2025 at Barrancas National Cemetery; 1 Cemetary Rd, Naval Air Station Pensacola, FL 32508.
