Mrs. Sallie Nason Willcox, age 89, passed away May 24, 2025.  She was born on June 26, 1935, in Sheffield, Alabama to George Henry Nason and Mildred Carolyn Gordon Nason.

Mrs. Willcox was a resident of DeFuniak Springs. She was Baptist by faith and a member of First Baptist Church of Woodlawn. She served as a pastor's wife to Reverend William Willcox as he pastored numerous churches in Walton County. They served together at First Baptist Church of Woodlawn as their home church for over 30 years.

Mrs. Willcox was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 58 years, Reverend William D Willcox, one son Gordon Willcox and daughter-in-law Elizabeth.

Mrs. Willcox is survived by her sons Danny Willcox and wife Lynette of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Billy Ray Willcox and wife Michelle of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, two daughters Tammy Lawrenz and husband Carl and Vicki Glass and husband Carl all of DeFuniak Springs, one sister Mildred Carolyn Hull of Bessimer, Alabama, 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, one niece Anna Gaston of Birmingham, Alabama and special friend Nellie Waggoner.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 31, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Woodlawn; 95 Cedar Drive, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 31, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Woodlawn; with Tim Lawrenz, Justin Glass and Reverend David Lain officiating.

Pallbearers will be Chris Willcox, Danny Willcox, Kelby Willcox, Brandon Glass, Aaron Richards, Tim Lawrenz and Clay Willcox.

Floral arrangements are being accepted or donations may be made to the Florida Baptist Children's Home; 1000 Chemstrand Road, Cantonment, FL 32533; Gideon's International PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214 or to the Building Fund at the First Baptist Church of Woodlawn; 95 Cedar Drive, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.

Burial will follow in the First Baptist Church of Woodlawn Cemetery.
