Mr. Ryan Michael Avant, 46, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026. He was born on August 20, 1979 in Tacoma, Washington to James Daniel Avant and Sara Ann Brocksmith Avant.

Mr. Avant was a long-term resident of the state of Florida. He enjoyed listening to 70s and 80s rock music and was a horror movie enthusiast. He was an avid history buff and particularly enjoyed learning about the WWII era. He was a landscaper by trade and was adored by his family and friends who affectionately knew him as "Redneck".

Mr. Avant was preceded in death by his father, James Daniel Avant; his maternal grandparents, Evelyn Woods and David Brocksmith; his paternal grandfather, Ernie Avant; and his uncles David Avant and Bill Avant.

Mr. Avant is survived by his mother, Sara Ann Brocksmith Avant; daughters Sara-ryann Avant and Ashlee Avant; his paternal grandmother Ruby Avant; and his aunt and uncle Ann Brocksmith and Michael Brocksmith.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
