Mr. Hilligoss had been a long-time resident of Walton County and Bruce, Florida. Working construction and maintenance his whole life Ray was an extremely handy man. He will be remembered as a man always ready to get things done. He is preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Janet. Both retired to Bruce and were living in a home they built with their own hands. Ray will be remembered as an exceptional worker, father and grandfather. Known as Ray by friends, daddy by his kids, and papa by his grandchildren. He will be missed greatly.

Mr. Hilligoss is preceded in death by his wife Janet, parents Russell Hilligoss Sr. and his wife Magdalene Clark; his brother Leonard "Zeke" Hilligoss

Mr. Hilligoss is survived by his son, Russell Hilligoss III and wife Tammy Hilligoss of Bruce; his daughter, Angela Waller and husband Randy Waller of Lynn Haven; his grandchildren; Sara and husband Blake Diedrich, Robert Hilligoss, Caleb Hilligoss, Madison Alexander, Emily Alexander, Zachary Alexander; his sister Diane Byrd, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ray will always be remembered as a wonderful man, father, and grandfather.

He will never be forgotten. Be with God and Nana. Love you Ray, Daddy, Papa.
