Mr. Russell Curren Hagan, age 79, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013. He was born July 29, 1933 in Geneva County, Alabama to Felix and Lela Peters Hagan. Mr. Hagan was a resident of Walton County. He was Christian by faith. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving his country in the United States Army. He worked as Chief Security Administrator at Eglin Air Force Base for many years before retiring in 1990. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and especially spending time with family and working crossword puzzles. Mr. Hagan was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Fred and Ewel Hagan and one sister Fannie Wilkerson. Mr. Hagan is survived by his loving wife of 54 ½ years Bonnie Morris Hagan of Mossy Head; one daughter Brenda Diane Baker of DeFuniak Springs, Florida two sons Gary Alan Hagan and wife Laurie of Panama City Beach, Florida and Gregory Stuart Hagan and wife Jennifer of Mossy Head, Florida; one brother James Hagan and wife Betty of Liberty, Florida; and 8 grandchildren Lela Baker, J.B. Baker, Savannah Hagan, Sienna Hagan, Devin Hagan, Kelby Hagan, Cason Hagan and Emery Hagan. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation services will be held 4:00~5:00 PM, Monday, June 10, 2013 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435. Funeral services will be held 5:00 PM, Monday, June 10, 2013 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Minister J.P. Tynes officiating and military honors. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Barrancas National Cemetery at 80 Hovey Road, Pensacola, Florida. Burial will follow in the Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida. Floral arrangements are being accepted.
