Robert Michaud of Freeport, Florida, passed away on February 2, 2025.

He was born on October 23, 1940 to Arthur and Louise Michaud.

He is survived by his wife, Wendy Michaud, son, Robert Michaud Jr., two grand-daughters, Grace Michaud and Ella Michaud, sister, Carol Kovitch, and daughter, Lauren Michaud.

He worked for years at Connecticut Natural Gas Company, first as a computer programmer and then as a building manager.

Due to his love of horses, he also worked many years as a farrier in Connecticut.  He and his wife lived on a farm in Colchester, Connecticut, where they enjoyed giving hayrides with their draft horses.

The family wishes to thank Chautauqua Springs Nursing Home staff for their excellent care and knowledge for Bob, and for Hartford Transplant Associates in Hartford, Connecticut, for their wonderful care during and after Bob's kidney transplant.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
