Mr. Robert "Bob" Glenn Imel, 84, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 after a long illness. He was born on October 4, 1937 in Portland, Indiana to William F. Imel and Clara Hillary Imel.

Mr, Imel was a resident of Walton County, Florida. He was Lutheran by faith. He was a very doting husband and father. He was a veteran of the Armed Forces, serving his country in the United States Air Force for eight years as a Staff Sergeant and aircraft mechanic. He also drove eighteen wheelers and worked as a Food Inspector with USDA for 21 ½ years before retiring. He especially enjoyed computer games.

Mr. Imel will be reaching the angels to meet with his loving daughter Bonita Imel, mother Clara Imel, and his father Floyd Imel.

Mr. Imel is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Colleen Imel of Mossy Head, Florida; son Robert Glenn, Jr. and fiancée Kristin of Davie, Florida; one brother, Bon Imel and wife Janet of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and his sister Thelma Myers of Portland, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews, cousins, and loving friends.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Salamonia, Indiana with Military Honors by the United States Air Force.
