Mr. Richard Loverne, Sr., age 84, passed away Friday, August 4, 2023. He was born on October 28, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Anna Kanights Loverne.

Mr. Loverne was a resident of Seacrest, Florida. He served his country in the United States Navy. Mr. Loverne worked as a nuclear engineer, was a free mason, and was a tamburitza enthusiast.

Mr. Loverne was preceded in death by his father and mother; brother-in-law Aca Lazovic; and son-in-law Dan Thich.

Mr. Loverne is survived by his loving wife Olga Loverne of Seacrest, Florida; two sons Richard Loverne, Jr. and wife Angela of Cypress, California, David Loverne of Phoenix, Arizona; one daughter Stacy Thich of Lincoln, California; four grandchildren Isaac Thich of Lincoln, California, Rebecca Thich of Sacramento, California, Bradley Xu of Ontario, California; John Loverne of Cypress, California; and one sister Carole Lazovic of Livonia, Michigan.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Serbian Cemetery in Miami, Arizona with Father Janka Trbovic of Slavic Association in Phoenix, Arizona officiating.
