Mr. Richard Arnold Plummer, age 84, passed away January 26, 2024.  He was born on January 4, 1940 in Sweet Springs, Missouri to Leslie Arnold Plummer and Beulah Ellen Swope Plummer.

Mr. Plummer was a resident of Mossy Head, Florida. He was Baptist by faith. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and the United States Air Force, serving his country as Senior Chief Petty Officer with over 30 years of serving before retiring. He worked as a photographer for the United States Navy and as a Civilian for the Federal Government. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Mr. Plummer was preceded in death by his father and mother, Leslie Arnold Plummer and Beulah Ellen Swope Plummer; one brother Gene Plummer; one sister Marlene "Perky" Scott; one daughter Madeeia Plummer and one granddaughter Lynn Plummer.

Mr. Plummer is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Annell Plummer of Mossy Head, Florida; three children Richard D. Plummer and wife Lisa of Sweet Springs, Missouri, Damon E. Plummer of West Virginia and Shaylee M. Plummer of Mossy Head, Florida; two grandchildren, Jason Mullineaux and Morgan Plummer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, February 7 , 2024 at Barrancas National Cemetery with Military honors by the United States Navy.
