Mrs. Rachel Eloise Williams, age 83, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023. She was born on April 1, 1940 in Ponce de Leon, Florida to Lewis and Bessie Gomillion Linton.

Mrs. Williams was a resident of Callaway, Florida and was Baptist by faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a very talented cook. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by father and mother; one brother Russell Linton; two sisters Bernice Brannon, Joyce Carroll; one stepdaughter Durenda Shaw.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Julian T. Williams, Sr. of Callaway, Florida; one son Robert Fawcett of Freeport, Florida; three stepchildren Steve Williams of Wewahitchka, Florida, Gail Slaman of Callaway, Florida, Julian T. Williams, Jr. and wife Idella of Wewahitcka, Florida; sixteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Friday, November 24, 2023 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 24, 2023 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mike McVay officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will follow in New Ponce de Leon Cemetery.
