Mrs. Peggy Elaine Glarum, 78, passed away March 26 , 2025.  She was born on September 5, 1946, in Baldwyn, Mississippi to Wade and Valker Heavner Chittom.

Peggy did student nursing for many years for Doctor Centafont in Fort Myers, Florida. Peggy was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gary Glarum, and one son, Dean Jerkins.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Denise Altman and husband Kent Sr., one brother Wade Chittom and wife Pat, one sister, Carolyn Beno and husband Bob. She is survived by her grandchildren, Ashley Lyon and husband Doug, Matthew Tillman, Skylar Jerkins, Jessica Godwin, Robin Carter and husband Trey, and Kent Altman, Jr. Peggy is also survived by six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 State Hwy 20 East, Freeport, FL 32439.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home ; with Reverend Michael Presley officiating.
