Obituary

Mrs. Nancy Louise Cannady, age 79, passed away December 3, 2021. She was born on January 3, 1942 in Orlando, Florida to Amos Davis and Ida Simmons Davis.

Mrs. Cannady was a resident of Walton County, Florida after moving from Orlando, Florida in 1970. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She worked as an inspector at Professional products for 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Cannady was preceded in death by her father and mother; her son Thomas Ray Fortier; one granddaughter Chelsey Sword; one great-grandson Keegan Beasley; her son-in-law George Beasley; two brothers, James Davis and Mark Davis; and her sister Mary Bacon.

Mrs. Cannady is survived by two daughters, Julie Wood and husband Alex of DeFuniak Springs, Florida and Lesley Dunnivan and husband Scott of Chipley, Florida; her brother Amos Butch Davis and wife Cathy; eight grandchildren, Brittney, Amos, Randy, Lilly, Gracie, Caden, Tara, and James; and four great-grandchildren, Karsyn, Klohie, Tanner, and Rynnleigh.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mark Rathel officiating.

Burial will be held at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
