Mr. Michael Thomas Spence, Jr., age 38, passed away January 16, 2023. He was born on December 9, 1984 in Geneva, Alabama to Michael Thomas Spence, Sr. and Charleen Nelson.

Mr. Spence was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He worked in construction for many years. He loved spending time with his children, playing cornhole, fishing, and collecting football and baseball cards. Michael was a very friendly and outgoing person with the ability to make everyone smile. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

Mr. Spence was preceded in death by his father, Mike Spence, and his niece McKenzie Spence.

Those who are left to cherish Michael's memory are his mother, Charleen Crew; his wife Dyani M. Spence of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; five children, Kayne Webster, Rickie Spence, Emanuel Michael Spence, Jeremy Spence, and Elaina Spence; four brothers (all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida): Tommy Spence, Reggie Spence, Ricky Spence and wife Natasha, and Cody Crew and wife Angel; and his nieces and nephews, Addison Spence, Lyla Spence, Cynthia Crew, Dalton Crew, Eden River Crew, Jadah Heckinger and Trenton Heckinger.

A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Monday, January 23, 2023 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 23, 2023 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Michael Tadlock officiating.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Spence, Reggie Spence, Cody Crew, Ricky Spence, and Clay Harvel.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will follow in the Harmony Fellowship Church Cemetery.
