Mrs. Mary E. Tucker of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, passed away September 20, 2024. She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina May 27, 1935 to Ralph and Hazel Deese. She moved to DeFuniak Springs in 1969 when her husband, Chester R. tucker retired from the United States Air Force at Eglin Air Force Base after 22 years of dedicated service.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 48 years, whom she loved and adored very much. He was the love of her life. Also, two sisters, Joyce Gordon and Sandra Brewer and Robert E. Tucker.

She is survived by her one great and loving son, Ralph (Bill) E. Tucker of Conway, South Carolina; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren ; one great great grandchild; two very special friends, John, better known as "Chopper" and his wife Lori Manning and their two great children, Lil John and Samantha, whom she loved very much. She was better known as the happy, dancing walking lady with many, many friends and special friend, Josh Rigby and family.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; with Eulogy by Terri Sims

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will be held at Magnolia Cemetery.
