Mary Virginia (Douglass) Locke was born on September 6, 1929 and passed peacefully on July 21, 2022. She was 92 years old. Mary was the second child of Colen and Alberta Douglass of Scottish heritage in the community of Eucheeanna. She was a resident of Walton County for most of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, beloved brother, Angus, and the love of her life, Ted Walton Locke.

Mary was an avid gardener and loved taking care of her yard. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-momma. Mary is survived by her siblings: Florasteen Davis, Mary Laird, and Dewyne Douglass. Mary was mother to Debra Locke Noyes (Weston) and Angela Locke Cavanaugh (Michael). She has four grandchildren: Brian Noyes (Erin), Sidney Noyes (David Anderson), and Julianna Kacheris (Nick). She is also survived by four Great Grandchildren: Abigail Noyes, Clara Anderson, Mary Louisa Anderson, and Bennett Noyes. She was steadfast in her faith and she loved everyone dearly. John 3:16.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church; 5551 County Highway 183 South, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 23435.

Burial will follow at Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
