Obituary

Ms. Maria Jeanine Tirico Jackomis, age 33, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026. She was born February 6, 1993, in Manchester, New Hampshire, to Christopher Tirico and Cathy (Landry) Kolbert.

Maria was a vibrant, devoted mother who adored her two children immensely. Everything she did was for them. Maria had a passion for the arts and saw the world through a beautiful lens. She was incredibly creative and shared her gifts with everyone around her. Her favorite hobby was arts and crafts with her children, keeping their precious artwork all around her home. She also found joy in turning discarded objects into something beautiful, giving them a new purpose.

Maria will be remembered for her passion for makeup, shoes, and all things girly. She was rarely, if ever, without her Red Bull, and enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes for her family.

Maria will be deeply missed by her two children, Aubrey Jackomis, 10, and Alexander Jackomis, 7; her father, Christopher Tirico and his wife, Filomena; her mother, Cathy Kolbert; her brother, Eric Tirico; her sister, Elyse McIntosh; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at New Life Church, 120 Kingdom Way, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459. A graveside service will follow at the Historic Gulf Cemetery, South County Highway 393, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459, with Pastor Shaun Baker officiating.
