Mrs. Mabel Luverne Caswell, age 92, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022. She was born on May 19, 1929 in Freeport, Florida to Marion and Pearlie Bowers Brown.

Mrs. Caswell was a lifelong resident of Freeport, Florida. She was Methodist by faith and a member of Freeport Methodist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked as a clerk with CHELCO in Freeport, for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Caswell was preceded in death by her father and mother; her husband Willie Gerald Caswell; siblings Buddy Brown, Marion Junior Brown, Mildred D'Amore, Gladys Jones, and Ina Mae Garrett.

Mrs. Caswell is survived by her son, Glenn Caswell of Freeport, Florida; three grandchildren, Shara McCormick and husband Blake, Anna Caswell, and Ellen Snizeko and husband Kodi; and six great-grandchildren, Adalyn, Ty, Doven, Ryu, Evie, and Molly.

Visitation will be held 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20, Freeport, Florida 32439.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, with Reverend Louis Taunton officiating.
