Mr. Loyce Dallas Raughton, Jr, age 89, passed away May 4, 2024.  He was born on February 25,1935 in Bagdad, Florida to Loyce Dallas Raughton and Thelma Holland Raughton.

Mr. Raughton was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was Baptist by faith. He worked as a painter and carpenter for many years in construction. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Hew was also a very talented Mechanic. He had a very good since of humor and always a had a joke to bring laughter to everyone.

Mr. Raughton was preceded in death by his father, mother and wife of 60years, Laverne Raughton and one brother, Leroy Raughton.

Mr. Raughton is survived by his children Loyce Dallas Raughton, III, Elaine Young (Mike), Dewayne Raughton (Telesa), Jeannette Nance (James), Susan Brewer, Karen McClamma (Joey) and William Dallas Raughton (Carrie) and one brother, Charles Raughton (Frances) of Jay, Florida. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
