Obituary

Ms. Louise Floyd Buie, age 86, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023. She was born on March 4, 1937 in Walton County, Florida to Lester L. and Annie Mae Miller Floyd.

Ms. Buie was a lifelong resident of Walton County, Florida. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. Ms. Buie was a restaurant owner for 20 years in Brewton, Alabama.

Ms. Buie was preceded in death by her father and mother; and loving husband Earl Buie; one son John Glen Kelly; four brothers Mac Ewell Floyd, Hollis Floyd, Chester Floyd, Raymond Richard Floyd; one sister Ouida Harble; and two brothers-in-law Dr. Howard Currie, Grover Kever.

Ms. Buie is survived by her two sons Harry William Kelly and wife Pam of Panama City, Joseph Alan Kelly of Pensacola; two daughters Kathy Louise Harrah of DeFuniak Springs, Beverly Kelly Jackson of Pensacola; two sisters Eloise Currie of DeFuniak Springs, Pearlie Mae Kever of DeFuniak Springs; six grandchildren Elliott Harrah, Albert Harrah, Jennifer Kelly, Heather Polson, Hunter Kelly, Taylor Kelly; and three great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Kelly, Elliott Harrah, Michael Howard, Charles Kelly, Jr., Chase Kelly, and Ryan Floyd.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will follow in Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
