Mr. Kenneth Lee Laird, age 75, passed away January 13, 2022.  He was born on September 16, 1946, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Kylea Laird and Anna Margaret Spence.

Mr. Laird was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was a Baptist by faith and a member of The First Baptist Church of Freeport. He was a devoted father, grandfather, son and brother. He was self employed as an entrepreneur for many years. He enjoyed hunting, was an excellent marksman and enjoyed fishing. He loved going to the river. He also enjoyed gardening and sharing vegetables with all of his neighbors, family and friends.

Mr. Laird was preceded in death by his parents Kylea Laird and Anna Margaret Spence, James Logan Beamon and his brother-in-law Marvin Collier.

Mr. Laird is survived by daughter Dr. Jennifer Logan Laird and husband David Cuchens of Freeport, Florida, grandson Kynlee Cuchens, and sister Janet Collier of Wetumpka, Alabama.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Monday, January 17, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20, Freeport, Florida 32439.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, with Pastor Rob Longmire officiating.

Flowers are being accepted, or donations may be made to The American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org .

Memorialization will be by Cremation.
