Mrs. Karla Davidson, age 59, passed away January 4, 2024.  She was born on February 12, 1964 in Vermillion, South Dakota to James and Donna Marks.

Thrown to a rather untypical world for a child to subdue, Karla developed her inner survivor. Leading her to enlist right after high school graduation for the Army. As with all the fazes in her life she excelled, using the Military to perfect and strengthen her will to live. While in the Army, and at a forbidden Navy Seal pub that she snuck into, she met Kevin Davidson and married him 24 hours later- who ended up her soul tie for life, within the 1-year anniversary of the wedding the family started to grow. Delivering Selina Davidson on the exact day of the wedding the year before. The young couple continued to grow and move throughout the next 3 state relocations, deployments and transitions, leading to Halloween of 1990 in Washington State where James Davidson was born. While Kevin kept reliability, the family grew and continued to consume anything that convert into a power source. By march of 1993 the baby girl was home. In Ponce de Leon Springs the Davidson house raised Karla's surviving children and now her grandchildren.

Mrs. Davidson is survived by Selina Davidson, James Davidson and Hannah Davidson- and each of their children; Calvin Mcquire, King Mcquire, Reagan Ordis, Remy Ordis, Ian Davidson, Izzy Davidson and Elijah Ordis. Karla is also honored with Victoria Davidson and Calvin Mcquire as son and daughter in laws. Phyllis and Delbert Young of Freeport, Florida as surviving parents in law, sister in laws, Linda Moe and Alecia Davidson and niece and nephew, Michael and Marissa.

So many were touched by her in their life that a record of it all is not possible, but important to remember, family comes from more that what is in the vein. Those not of the same blood, are still firm on the family tree.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 Highway 20 East, Freeport, Florida 32439.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM/, Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; with Reverend Derek Glenn officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Pallbearers will be James Davidson, David Simpson, Terrell Bramlett and Xavier Jackson.

Burial will be held at Antioch Cemetery.
