Mrs. Karen Diane Hamon, age 65, passed away August 9, 2025.  She was born on September 14, 1959 in Ravenna, Ohio to Leroy Earl Pewton and Nancy Shotts Pewton and raised in Phoenix, Arizona where she met her "Sunshine" Tim Hamon.

Mrs. Hamon was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. She was Christian by faith and a member of Vision Church at Christian International where she served as an Elder and also served on the worship team. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She especially loved taking care of her family. She said the only thing I ever wanted to be was a "Wife, Mother and Grandmother." She was affectionately known as "Grammy."

Mrs. Hamon was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy Earl Pewton and Nancy Shotts Pewton.

Mrs. Hamon is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Timothy T. Hamon; children, Ruth Pearce and her husband Jason, Sheri Slusher and her husband Richard, Sarah Yates and her husband Dante and Tim Hamon II and his wife Samantha; grandchildren, Cyrus Garringer, Grace Garringer, Ian Slusher, Ezra Slusher, Eli Slusher, Keziah Yates, Zakkai Yates, Baby Yates, Emily Hamon, Diana Hamon and Evelyn Hamon; and siblings, Linda Staten, Patricia Cox, Brenda Luther and Douglas Pewton.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 12:00 PM, Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Vision Church at Christian International; 5200 US Highway 98 E Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459; with Tom and Jane Hamon officiating.
