Junior Lee Bailey, age 83, peacefully passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, with his family by his side. He was born on February 10, 1941, in Evergreen, Alabama. He was a believer in God, a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a member of the New Life Seventh Day Adventist Church in DeFuniak Springs. He was a heavy equipment operator for years which eventually led him to owning his own dump truck & Business. He loved his family, gardening and was an avid fisherman.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fallie & Clara Bailey, six brothers, James, Buford, Willie J. Richard, Ammie Lee, Marvin and four sisters, Ruby Jean, Francis, Myrtle and Cleonia.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pinky, of 57 plus years, three boys, Vann (Kim) Thomas, Tony (Melinda) Bailey and  Timothy (Stacey) Bailey , ten grandchildren, Josh, Micheal (Amber), Vann II (Kelcy), Garrett, Justin (Rhonda), Camri (Matt), Brittany (Jason), Sarah (Bear), Kayla (Drew), Shalyn (Taylor), nine great grandchildren, Veralynn, Amaya, Maddox, Connor, Lincoln, Troy, Colton, Rebekah, and Heidi; his siblings Mary Louis (Von) and Lucy Mae (Talmadge) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 30, 2024 at New Life Seventh Day Adventist Church in DeFuniak Springs, Florida; with Pastor Martin Fancher and Pastor Omar Montilla officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to your favorite charity in Lee's name.
