Mr. Joseph Ray Howell, age 38, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025. He was born on January 21, 1987 in Pensacola, Florida to Trevor John Howell and Tabitha Forehand Sunday.

Mr. Howell was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was Christian by faith. He enjoyed working with his hands. He loved fishing. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping. He always enjoyed helping others.

Mr. Howell was preceded in death by his son, Karson Howell; paternal grandparents, Harold Howell and Rena Howell and his maternal grandmother, Joyce Freeman.

Mr. Howell is survived by his father, Trevor Howell; mother, Tabitha Forehand Sunday; children, Raelynn Troublefield, Kyle Slay, Noah Turner-Howell, Kaleb Howell and Lauren Howell; his brother, Jonathan Howell (Catherine); sisters, Bailey Howell, Katelynn Howell and Bethany Hake (Ryan) and Uncle Travis Howell (Charlotte).

Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
