Mr. John Paul Kaiser, Jr, age 80, passed away on March 24, 2022, surrounded by his family and loved ones. A devoted and faithful follower of Jesus Christ, he rejoins his wife Judy in Heaven, who preceded him last summer.
Born and raised on the family farm in Elberta, Alabama, he was the third eldest son of John P. Kaiser, Sr and Bernice Larson Kaiser, in a family of seven sons and one daughter. He attended St. Benedict Elementary School, Elberta Middle School, and graduated Foley High School in 1959. He returned to Baldwin County to reside in Gulf Shores in 1982, and there, owned and operated Kaiser Landscape for over 35 years. John met his wife, Judy Ard Kaiser, from Robertsdale, AL, at the local beach. They were married in 1967, and he was a devoted husband for fifty-three years until her passing in 2021. A loving father and grandfather, he enjoyed being outdoors, boating with his daughters and grandchildren, and serving the Lord in several area churches. He was a leader in the Gulf Shores community, serving in the local Optimist Club, Republican Party, Mardi Gras associations, on the board of the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, and volunteering with the Alabama Coastal Foundation's Share the Beach sea turtle program.
He is survived by his three daughters, Wendy Kaiser DeSchoolmeester and husband David, Lani Kaiser-Washington, and Amanda Kaiser, three grandchildren; Grattan Sargent, Claire Sargent Munoz and husband Saul, and John Paul Kaiser, III; three brothers; Herb Kaiser and wife Cindy, Leonard Kaiser and wife Belinda, and Glen Kaiser and wife Lana, along with many beloved Kaiser and Larson cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
