She was born Jane Aileen Sargent on April 14, 1927 in Newfane, New York. She and her late husband, retired in Mossyhead, Florida in 1977.

Jane loved her family. She enjoyed being around people, no one was a stranger, she loved working in her garden, baking and sewing. She was a Baptist by faith and was a member of Mossyhead Baptist church for years. She was a caregiver to several people in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was a life member with the VFW and loved helping the Veterans. She was involved in fighting for Social Security and Medicare and spent hours fighting for it.

Jane was preceded in death by her late husband, Roland E. Miller, and her daughter, Sharon D. Schmidl and her husband Joseph Schmidl.

Jane is survived by one son, Charles Miller and wife Jan Miller of Herndon, Virginia, One Daughter Linda E. Schulmeister of Mossyhead, Florida and one sister Elenor Bradfield of Gulf Breeze, Florida. She is also survived by six Grandchildren Tina Gillam, Chuck Miller, Debbie Saltvedt, David Schulmeister, Paul Miller and Christopher Miller, and fifteen great Grandchildren.

She leaves all of us with loving memories of all the happy times we shared and her never ending kindness.
