Mr. James Thompson, age 54, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023. He was born on January 23, 1969 in Geneva, Alabama to Earl and Berdis Olean Simmons Thompson.

Mr. Thompson was a resident of Red Bay, Florida. He was a devoted father, brother, son, and friend. He worked as an electrician for many years. He enjoyed fishing and traveling to Maine. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his mother.

Mr. Thompson is survived by his father, Earl Thompson; wife, Marie Thompson; four children, James Thompson, Jr., Teresa Thompson, James Davis, and Vincent Davis; four grandchildren; three brothers, Coy Thompson and wife Sherry, Robert Thompson and wife Chrissy, and Dewayne Simmons; seven sisters, Brenda Morse and husband Michael, Shannon Yawn, Angel Simmons, Cheri Simmons, Sandra Mitchem, Elizabeth Thompson, and Amy Thompson; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as his beloved Grandmother Simmons.
