Mr. James Edward Canaday IV, age 50, passed away October 14, 2022. He was born February 16, 1972 in San Antonio, Texas to James Edward Canaday and Margaret Shirley.

Mr. Canaday was a resident of Ponce de Leon, Florida. He enjoyed playing internet games.

Mr. Canaday was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Shirley Braddy.

Mr. Canaday is survived by his father Jim "Cy" Canaday of West Virginia; his stepfather, John Braddy of North Carolina; one brother, Cy Braddy of North Carolina; his uncle John Shirley of Ponce de Leon, Florida; three aunts, Virginia Carroll of Leonia, Florida, Mae Miller of Leonia, Florida, and Wilma Gorr of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; numerous nieces and cousins; and Mary "Sissy" Combs of Panama City, Florida.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 21, 2022 at the Carroll Family Cemetery off of Rock Hill Court in Ponce de Leon, Florida with Reverend Joel Glenn officiating.
