Mrs. Iris June Brewer, 86, passed away July 10, 2025 surrounded by her family.  She was born on June 8th, 1939 , in Cumberland County, Illinois to Russell and Bonnie Grissom Washburn. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother.

Mrs. Brewer was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. She married Floyd Brewer on November 3, 1961, together raising seven children. She loved to travel and was everyone's favorite tour guide. June loved Fairview Methodist Church, the community church she attended for several decades. She loved chocolate cake, singing songs that only she knew, and spending time with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

June was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Floyd R. Brewer, sons Bill Brewer and Floyd A. (Bub) Brewer, brother Gene Washburn, and grandson Kevin Brewer.

Remaining to cherish June's memory are her children Russ (Robin) Brewer of Joliet, IL; Tina (John) Sumila of Danville, IL; Sue White of Miramar Beach, FL; Teresa (Tony) Willoughby of DeFuniak Springs, FL; Rob (Jo) Brewer of Largo, FL; and dozens of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service for June and her son Bub will be held August 5, 2025 at Hope Community Church; 22305 Mill Rd, Georgetown, IL.

The family invites you to join them to share in their memory with visitation from 4-5:30PM followed by the memorial service.
