Helen Janice Toole, age 89, of Grayton Beach, Florida passed away on March 18, 2024. She was born on November 7, 1934 in Crestview, Florida. She was a lifelong resident of Grayton Beach.

Janice graduated from Florida State University in 1956. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a member of Point Washington United Methodist Church. She loved pompano and deep sea fishing. The fish can now rest easy. She was a devout fan of all Florida State Seminoles sports - especially football. Go Noles! She will be remembered for her kind and witty personality.

Janice is preceded in death by her husband William Toole, her parents Van Ness R. Butler Sr., Helen Enzor Butler, her brother Van Ness R. Butler II, and her sister Gretchen Infinger.

She is survived by her son Stan Toole, her daughter Elyce Sullivan, her five grandchildren Jennifer Waldrip (Sullivan), Julie Meyer (Collier), Wesley Sullivan (Christina), Kimberly Toole, Emily Sullivan, and four great-grandchildren Andersen, Alfie, Theo, and Ruby.

The family will have a private memorial service.
