Ms. Helen Lorene Eldridge, age 71, passed away November 5, 2024.  She was born on June 28, 1953 in Jefferson, Texas to Elzie Curferd Eldridge and Hazel Hughes Eldridge.

Ms. Eldridge was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was Pentecostal by faith and a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Westville. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a very talented cook and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Ms. Eldridge was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John Eldridge and Elzie Eldridge; sister, Sue McFarron and one grandson, Tommy Gunn Tarver.

Ms. Eldridge is survived by her children, Thomas C. Tarver of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Jacky Leroy Tarver of Zachary, Louisiana and Dick Tarver of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; grandchildren, Breanna Tarver, Taylor Venderford and her husband Dawson, Autumn Tarver, J.D. Tarver, Bailey Tarver, Hunter Tarver, Christian Tarver (Bailey) and Alana Tarver; great grandchildren, Levi and Blakeley; brother, Robert Eldridge and sister, Anita Eldridge.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday, November 8, 2024 at First United Pentecostal Church of Westville; 2100 Hwy 90 W Westville, FL 32464.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 9, 2024 at First United Pentecostal Church of Westville; with Pastor Jason Campbell officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will be held at First United Pentecostal Church of Westville Cemetery.
