Mr. George "Everett" Adkison, age 66, passed away January 1, 2025.  He was born on June 21, 1958 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Bertha Mae Adkison and Lawton Mathews.

Mr. Adkison was a resident of Westville, Florida. His hobbies included fishing, gardening, playing Dominoes, and watching NASCAR.

Mr. Adkison was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Adkison "Boots", father, Lawton Mathews and his son, Luke Adkison.

Mr. George Adkison is survived by his children; John Adkison, Brenda Haskins and husband Eric Haskins, Leann Warren and husband Kevin Warren, his grandchildren, John L. Adkison, Justin Adkison, Jameson Adkison, Caden Bray, Gemma Haskins, Kyle Garrett, James Garrett, Damian Garrett, and Chloie Warren. One great-grandson, Steven Jones-Garrett. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Margaret Adkison.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, January 6, 2025 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Limestone Cemetery; with Reverend Curtis Manning officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will be held at Limestone Cemetery.
