Obituary

Mr. Freddy Watson, loving husband to his wife, Linda, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus, on November 1 at 2:00am, from a Pensacola hospital.

Freddy was born on February 15, 1951, in Branford, Florida, to Edward Watson and Nadine McAdams Watson.

Freddy is much respected and admired for the kind way he treated his dear wife Linda, and for his kindness to others as well. Freddy & Linda were connected at the heart for 33 years.

Freddie was preceded in death by his birth parents, Edward Watson & Nadine McAdams Watson; by the parents who took him in and raised him, John James Roberts and Mavis Lorene Roberts; two sisters, Sheila Davis and Linda Sealy; three brothers, Billy Ray Roberts, Johnny Mack Roberts, and Clay Neal Roberts.

Freddy is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda; two sisters, Gale and Joyce; one brother, Mack (& wife Judy) Roberts; one niece, Amanda; three step daughters, Samantha, Michelle, and Evelyn; five brothers-in-law, Mickey, Jessie, Timothy, Daniel, and Patrick; five sisters-in-law, Shirley, Gennie, Sarah, Esther, and Elaine; eleven grandkids, seven great-grandkids; many nieces and nephews, his first wife, Betty Ann and other relatives and friends as well.

Receiving of friends will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church; 1015 Pleasant Ridge Road, DeFuniak Springs, Florida.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a special account set up at All In Credit Union in DeFuniak Springs in Freddy & Linda Watson's names. (Donations must be made in person.)
