Mrs. Emmareeta Baillie Clark, age 100, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022. She was born August 15, 1921 in Elfers, Florida to William and Hattie McKendree Baillie.
Mrs. Clark was a resident of Walton County. She was Baptist by faith and a member of the Southwide Baptist Church. She was also active in Women on Missions, and she taught Sunday School most of her adult life. She worked as a Nursing Assistant for many years before retiring. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and working jig saw puzzles.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 64 years, Theophilus "Theo" Clark, infant daughter, Harriet Clark, son, Ronald R. Clark, grandchild, Belinda Sammons; sisters, Leola Dukes, Doris Dukes and Geneva Herndon; brothers, Lovert Baillie, Hubert Baillie, Raymond Baillie, Eugene Baillie, Morris Baillie, Gerald Baillie, Dewey Baillie and Daniel Baillie.
Mrs. Clark is survived by one son, Howard E. Clark and wife Beverly of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; daughters, Maida J. Porter of Hudson, Florida and Frances L. Young and husband Paul of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; grandchildren, Beverly Jean Buck and husband Chris, Arthur C. Porter and wife Michelle, Robert D. Clark and wife Cindy, Arlisa K. Harding and husband James, Christy L. Martin and husband Marty and Wanda K. Landen and husband David; great grandchildren, Elvis, Adrian, Brandon, Ethan, Hudson, Kyle, Adah, Annaliese, Kristen, Nicholas, Dalton, Nicole, Dawn, Gina, Adam, Paul Alan, Jonseth, Andrew, Evan, Jennifer, and Lorelai. Also survived by 26 great- great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Southwide Baptist Church at 1307 Coy Burgess Loop, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435, with Reverend Jeremy Lewis and Jonseth Sammons officiating.
