Mrs. Ellis, 96, passed away March 10, 2025.  She was born on May 19, 1928, in Coffee County, Alabama to Elsie and Maxie Bernard Mills.

Mrs. Ellis was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach for the last six years. She was a Methodist by faith and a member of the Point Washington United Methodist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Ellis worked as a seamstress for many years doing clothes alterations. She enjoyed attending church where she sang in the choir.

Mrs. Ellis was preceded in death by her father, mother, one sister, Sybil Roberts, and husband, Robert E. Ellis.

Mrs. Ellis is survived by one son, Dylan Dale Ellis and wife Melody, three grandchildren, Robert Ellis, Terry Ellis , Anthony Ellis and wife Sunni, and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Gene Mills, and two sisters, Dixie Roberts and Geraldine Johnson.

A time of visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM, Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Point Washington United Methodist Church; 1290 North County Highway 395, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida 32459.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday March 13, 2025 at the Point Washington United Methodist; with Reverend Amy Persons officiating.

Flowers are being accepted or donations to Point Washington United Methodist Church.

Burial will be held at Point Washington Cemetery.
