Mr. Earl Wayne Slay, age 76, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023. He was born on June 6, 1947 in Holmes County, Florida to Earl Douglas and Zelma Carroll Slay.

Mr. Slay was a resident of Ponce de Leon, Florida. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing on the river, hunting large and small game, and had a general enjoyment of being outside in nature. Mr. Slay loved being around his friends and family, and always thought the world of each of them.

Mr. Slay was preceded in death by his father Earl Douglas Slay and mother Zelma Slay; and two sisters Mary Lou Carroll and Earline Carter.

Mr. Slay is survived by one sister Wedell Pollard and husband Robert of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; and four brothers Furlon Slay and wife Carolyn, Jimmy Slay and Bernice McKee, Ronnie Slay and wife Melissa Gilmore, and Bud Slay all of Ponce de Leon, Florida.
