Ms. Dorenda Lowe Curry, age 74, passed away December 20, 2021. She was born on August 23, 1947 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Jenkins J. Lowe and Pennie Forehand Lowe.

Ms. Curry was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She worked as a pharmacy technician at Wal-Mart for many years. She enjoyed going to church, reading, and watching the Hallmark Channel.

Ms. Curry was preceded in death by her father and mother; her sister Helen Woodall; and three brothers, John F. Lowe, Grady Lowe, and Tommy Lowe.

Ms. Curry is survived by her daughter Sheryl "Sami" Farley of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; her grandson Layne A. Infinger and wife Natashia of New York; one great-grandson, Marshal Infinger; and three sisters, Jean Collinsworth of Tallahassee, Florida, Earlene Johns of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, and Mildred Williamson of DeFuniak Springs, Florida.

A time of visitation will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church; 1015 Pleasant Ridge Road, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with Dr. Mark Rathel officiating.

Burial will be held at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
