Mrs. Donna Jean McKinney, age 81, passed away July 6, 2023. She was born on July 22, 1941 in Fayettville, Ohio to Ralph Berwanger and Ilen Aubrey Berwanger.

She was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked as a Manager and Clerk at Tisa's Motel in Niceville, Florida for 45 years before retiring. She enjoying playing bingo at DAV in DeFuniak Springs, Florida.

Mrs. McKinney was predeceased by her father and mother; two brothers Bobby Berwanger and Raymond "Top" Berwanger; granddaughter, Paige Riley; and son-in-law John Singletary.

Mrs. McKinney is survived by her husband of 35 years Howard Hal McKinney of DeFuniak Springs; children Junior Cox and wife Gloria, Judith Cox, Raymond Gavin, Michelle Singletary; grandchildren Mark Cox, Richard Cox, Kirsten McKee, Kalissa Gavin, Nichole Edwards, Jimmy Thomas, Hunter McKinney, Jerry Gavin; twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers Butch Berwanger and wife Vivian of Jamestown, Ohio, Kenny Allen and wife Tracy of DeFuniak Springs; and one sister Sherry Pflanzer and husband Bryan of Jamestown, Ohio.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, July 12, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
