Mrs. Donna Maria Hinson, age 65, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021. She was born November 24, 1956 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida to Gene and Mary Williams Hinson.

Mrs. Hinson was a resident of Freeport, Florida. She was Christian by faith and a member of New Beginnings Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She worked in Customer Service for the City of Freeport for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to the beach and gardening. Mrs. Hinson was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Joshua Spaid.

Mrs. Hinson is survived by her sons; Jason Spaid and wife Marilyn of Tennessee, James Spaid of Freeport, Florida, Chad Anderson and wife Kate of Georgia, Christopher Anderson of Freeport, Florida,  and Russell Anderson and  Sarah  Steckelberg of DeFuniak Springs; brothers, William Smithson, Billy Harris and wife Gina, Ricky Harris, and Bobby Smithson; sisters, Sheila Thompson and Caolyn Smithson Miller; grandchildren, Marrissa Spaid, Garrett Spaid, Ashley Spaid, Gavin Anderson, Faith Anderson, Penelope Anderson, Savannah Anderson and Buddy Anderson.

A time of visitation will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Friday, December 31, 2021 at New Beginnings Church; 1564 Highway 20, Freeport, Florida 32439. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, December 31, 2021 at New Beginnings Church, with Pastor Louis Taunton officiating.

Burial will be held at Hatcher Cemetery.  Flowers are being accepted.
