Mrs. Dollie Faye Brown, age 87, passed away January 6, 2022.  She was born on November 1, 1934, in Westville, Florida to George L. Baker and Bessie Powell Baker.

Mrs. Brown was a resident of Ponce de Leon, Florida in the Sandy Creek Community. She was a Christian by faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She owned her own business operating poultry houses for many years. She was a very talented cook and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was very close to all of her cousins and extended family.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her father George L. Baker and her mother Bessie Powell Baker, her husband Ned Ray Brown of 52 years, her sister Shelby Bowers, and her sister-in-law Margaret Baker.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her three daughters Brenda Morrison and husband Donnie, Gaye Skinner and husband Larry, and Pamela Joy Newsom all of Ponce de Leon, Florida,  brother Dale Baker of Westville, Florida,  sister Mavis Preachers Brown of South Carolina, sister Barbara Glass and husband Tom of Geneva, Alabama, her six grandchildren Brent Morrison and wife Michelle, Blake Morrison and wife Beverly, Dylan Skinner and wife Amber, Seth Skinner and wife Korey, Brooks Newsom and wife Mistie, and Brandon Newsom, and her twelve great-grandchildren Kaizley, Colter, Jensen, Loralie, Ainsley, Ransom, Luke, Melalee, Brooklyn, Ember, Lily, and Olivia.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Monday, January 10, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 10, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wayne Brannon, Reverend Daniel Smith and Steven Connell officiating.

Flowers will be accepted.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Brent Morrison, Blake Morrison, Brooks Newsom, Brandon Newsom, Dylan Skinner and Seth Skinner.

Burial will be held at Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery; 1125 Line Road, Ponce de Leon, Florida 32455.
