Obituary

Deborah Susan Maresca, better known as Debbie, was born to Klause and Marlene Sharp in Boston, Massachusetts on June 13, 1963.

She was self proclaimed "crazy" but those that loved her thought of her as a fun loving person that God likely created while sipping on a glass of some high quality wine.  He added a huge heart, poured in a double dose of sass, and left out the filter.  She was authentic, and lived her life unapologetically to the fullest.  A kid at heart, she was always up for an adventure, and rarely let anyone tell her what to do.  She was an animal lover and often had Animal Planet going on the TV with her own small zoo right there in her lap.  Her dogs, cats, and 31 year old Cockatoo "Babygirl" were never far from her.  A sentimental person, she kept even the smallest of items as loving keepsakes.  Her 5 grandchildren affectionately called her "Nene" because she was far too cool to be called "Grandma".  She kept a box of Popsicles in the freezer especially for them, or any other neighborhood kid that happened to stop by.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, a cold drink in the sunshine, and a dirty joke. To know her was to never forget her. Her playful blue eyes, warm smile, and quick wit will be remembered by all who had the chance to meet her.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Klause and Marlene Sharp.  She is survived by her son John A. Maresca Jr. and wife Krystal, five grandchildren Caden, Colbie, Karalena, Chloe, and Carter, sister Andrea Martin and brother Billy Sharp, and the dearest of friends whom she loved and treasured.  Angels all around you, mom.  We love you.
