Mr. Danny Richard Russell, age 77, passed away April 20, 2025.  He was born on September 22, 1947 in Highland Park, Michigan to Raymond Russell and Marjorie J. Wilson Russell.

Mr. Russell was a resident of Freeport, Florida. Danny was a proud Army Veteran of 20 years; serving in Vietnam, Germany and Korea. While serving he earned several medals and retired from the military in 1987 as a Staff Sergeant. He was a member of the bowling community for 53 years and was inducted into the Emerald Coast Bowling Association Hall of Fame in April of 2019. During his bowling career he achieved 27 perfect 300 games.

Mr. Russell was preceded in death his parents, Raymond Russell and Marjorie J. Wilson Russell.

Mr. Russell is survived by his loving wife, Valerie Russell; children, Michael Russell and his wife Dawn Russell, Robert Russell, Timothy Russell, Katherine Crum and her husband Jeremy Crum; grandchildren, Michael Russell, Hazelle Russell and Ronon Russell and one sister, Gwen McCoy of Pitcher, Oklahoma.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, Friday, April 25, 2025 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20 East, Freeport, Florida 32439.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 25, 2025 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home.
