Mr. Danny Houston Montgomery, age 59, passed away February 11, 2023. He was born on October 29, 1963 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to George and Jessie Lee Edwards Montgomery.

Mr. Montgomery was a lifelong resident of Walton County, Florida and was Christian by faith. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He owned and operated his own business, Montgomery Metal Roofing, Inc. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and the love of his life, Jeni Rose.

Mr. Montgomery was preceded in death by his father and mother; wife of 25 years, Pam Montgomery; brother, Royce Montgomery; grandson, Houston Lee Young; and nephew, Matthew Montgomery.

Mr. Montgomery is survived by the love of his life, Jeni Rose; stepson, Daniel Young and wife, Casey; three brothers, Kenny Montgomery and wife Ovalee of Euchee Valley, Ernie Montgomery and wife Brenda of Euchee Valley, Tim Montgomery and wife Nicole of Ponce de Leon; two sisters, Sib Bell and husband Jim of Ponce de Leon, Geniece Maricle of Euchee Valley; sister-in-law Shirley Montgomery of Valley View Community; and five grandchildren.

Receiving of friends will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435 with Reverend Kenny Montgomery officiating.

Burial will be held at Red Bay Cemetery.
