Mr. Christian "Chris" Tobin Ruckert, age 46, passed away August 28, 2024 in Miramar Beach. He was born March 14, 1978, in Marietta, Georgia to Tobin Ruckert and Linda Bush Spangler.

Chris was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. He was a devoted fiancé, father, son, brother and friend. He graduated from Freeport Senior High School in 1996 in Freeport, Illinois. He received his Associates Degree in music from Southwestern Community College in Creston, Iowa. He was a talented musician and a very talented guitarist. He worked in the upholstery industry. He was also a very good cook, and he could fix anything that needed repaired. He was very fun and lighthearted and enjoyed having a good time with his children and family.

Chris is survived by his mother, Linda Bush Spangler and stepfather James Spangler; his father, Tobin L Ruckert and stepmother Deborah Ruckert.; his fiancé, Melissa Pline; three children, Bella Raine Ruckert, London Wales Ruckert, and Asher Wesley Ruckert; two stepchildren, Grace Pline and Logan Pline, two sisters, Corey Erin Smith and husband Darryl and Kelsey Yvette Ruckert.

Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 Highway 20 East, Freeport, Florida 32439.
