Mr. Charlie Walter Phillips, Jr., age 89, passed away January 18, 2023. He was born on November 3, 1933 in Walton County, Florida to Charlie Walter Phillips, Sr. and Edna Cosson Phillips.

Mr. Phillips was a resident of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He was Baptist by faith. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Era, serving his country in the United States Air Force with over twenty years of service before retiring as a Technical Sergeant.

Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his father and mother; his wife of 42 years, Betty Phillips; one son, Ron Phillips; one daughter, Chavala Webber; and brothers Rollie Phillips and Harvey Phillips.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his children, Charles Phillips and wife Birute of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and Mike Phillips and wife Eve of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers, James Phillips of Geneva, Alabama and Earl Phillips and wife Tammara of Bonifay, Florida.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
